Participation in the IPPS AWARD on  and its implementation is governed by the following provisions: Participation can only take place online.

A participant participates in the IPPSA by submitting the photographs as  digital image/s file/s via the Internet portal 

Participation must be within the specified time limit. The participant is responsible for the accuracy of his/hers/their e-mail address. 

                 ENTRY TIME LIMIT

The IPPS AWARD 2020 MONTHLY Competitions  will start on the 5th day of the month at 00:00 PAC, UTC/GMT - 8 hours   and will end on 4th of the following month at 23:59 PAC, UTC/GMT - 8 hours. Awarded entries will be released on the 15th of the month for previous month’s submissions.

All submissions to the competition must be received by the end of the competition.


At the IPPSA, entry is open for worldwide photographers


  • NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY -  The Newborn Category is the photography of newborn babies between 0 and 2 months old of age. This category involves multiple skills of the photographers where he/she is being completely responsible for the safety and welfare of the subject – the baby.

  • MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHYThe Maternity Category are the photographs done through pregnancy or the maternity period of soon-to-be mother. Pregnant woman must be the focus of the photograph. 

  • SITTER / CAKE SMASH  PHOTOGRAPHYThe SITTER /CAKE SMASH Category, otherwise known as a milestone, is the celebration of when baby sits up unaided. These sessions are between 3 and 12 months old. Cake smash photography session is done around the baby's first Birthday.

  • CHILDREN PHOTOGRAPHY -The Children Category refers to children, who are the main focus of the photograph,  between age of 1 & 14 years. Children photography can be challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding.

  • FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHYThe Family category  is all about capturing groups of people that have family ties. These range from the small group, such as parents and their children.

  • FURRY FRIENDS  PHOTOGRAPHY  - Furry baby category  is a fun photography that allows to combine a love of animals with technical skill in photography. This category has no age limit for our pet friends


Each participant can participate according to the number of pictures defined in the respective photo competition. Every picture has to be submitted by means of an online form via the Internet portal in digital JPG format. The compulsory details of the online form must be completed. Participants must have read and accepted the conditions of participation.

  3. Upload your pictures.

  4. You can enter as many times as you like.

  5. Pay the participation fee based on the number of submitted pictures. One image is 15USD, 3 images are 25USD, 5 images are 35USD and 10images are 50USD. After the images are submitted and payment is processed you will officially participate in the contest. You will immediately receive an e-mail from us, which confirms your successful submission of your pictures and payment. Please check all information for accuracy

j.           JUDGING PROCESS

    IPPSA uses a ‘blind judging’ system where judges are not  aware of any information about the authorship of specific submissions and anonymously will judge and will score all submitted images. Judging for each competition consists of two rounds and is same for all contests hosted by IPPSA:

      First Round  – Screening

All photographs submitted to our competitions are reviewed by photo editors of IPPSA, and the ones that pass the initial screening are forwarded to the competition’s panel of judges for scoring. Initial screening ensures that submissions meet a minimum level of technical quality and conform to the specified image requirements.

       Second Round  -  Judging  

Each competition has it’s own panel of judges.After the Initial Screening all the members of a judging panel will go through the submissions and evaluate them based on the following criteria: Artistic Expressions, Composition, Technical Aspect & Light, Impact, Creativity, Technical Excellence, Superior Photographic Technique and Overall Impression

          Special Award for outstanding photographs 

          Winner Award for all amazing photographs

               IPPS AWARDS RULES:


No signature, stamp or any other identifying mark is allowed anywhere on the entry photograph. No watermark, text or borders of any kind.

No Two images should contain the same subject. All elements of each entry must be photographic and have been captured by the entrant.

NO DIGITAL BACKDROPS are allowed. Textures must have been captured by the entrant. NO stock photos are allowed. We reserve the right to request the RAW file of any entry if necessary.Images entered may contain composites. File Name: First name and last name, all one word, followed by a number sequence. (For example studiophoto01, studiophoto02, studiophoto03 etc. Make sure file name sequence numbers do not match even in separate categories.)

The entrant warrants that the work submitted is original. Participation is only possible via the online form. Any contributions that are submitted in another way are not permitted and will not be returned. Any image made available via the online form will be available for review from the publication on according to the competition conditions. A claim to the publication does not exist. The uploaded image/s will be provided with the participant’s first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, address, studio name, website, Facebook and instagram accounts , picture name and short picture description. The information is entered in the relevant fields of the form. Participants agree to the use and storage of their data solely for the purposes of this photo competition. The submitted images will be deleted from the IPPSA media after completion of the contest and the follow-up. All awarded entries will be notified by IPPSA in writing, by e-mail,  published at and on social media.  With this form of publication, the awarded entries expressly agrees.

  • You can send as many pictures as you want and participate in the IPPSA. In each case according to the steps described above. Your digital images must have 2048 pixels on the longest side. Your images must be saved with 150 dpi to ensure a fast upload experience. Images can be colored in RGB, Adobe-1998 or B/W. We have created a Photoshop Action for you to download for free and use it to resize your image to submit to IPPS AWARD 2020. Please download Action HERE: 

  • You may upload 1, 3, 5 or 10 image files to the IPPSA 2020 as many times as you want.  Each participation consists of a registration form, pictures, and a participation fee.

  • The participant warrants that he has all rights to the submitted picture, has the full rights of exploitation of all parts of the picture, that the picture is free of third party rights, and that no personality rights are infringed in the representation of persons. If one or more persons are shown on the picture, the persons concerned must agree to the publication of the picture. The participant will insure the above in writing. If, however, third parties are entitled to assert claims for infringement of their rights, the participant shall release the organizers from all claims. Photographs taken at the computer may not contain pictures from magazines, books, internet, etc.

  • Entries shall be assessed in accordance with the assessment criteria as defined below. Your photos may not contain any obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit or otherwise offensive or inappropriate content. Photos taken as inappropriate are disqualified, no paid fees will be returned.

                   COPYRIGHTS & RELEASES

You must be the copyright owner of any works submitted and you also confirm you have the necessary permission from people who may appear in the photo. You warrant that submitted artworks have been created by you, and that you own all necessary rights to use the artworks for participating in IPPSA’s contests. In particular, the artwork must not violate or infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and no other party must have any rights, claim or interest in the artwork.

Artworks that fail to comply with these copyrights conditions will be disqualified.

The copyright for all images entered in the IPPSA Contest will remain the property of the entrant, but it is a condition of entry that the entrant or their representatives agree unconditionally that the IPPS Awards and all their subsidiary affiliations  for the purposes of marketing, promotion, discussion and education in direct connection with the IPPSA. IPPSA also reserves the right to reproduce selected images free of charge for core non-commercial purposes, for example in the past competitions page of the IPPSA website, indefinitely, as a public record.Entrants agree to grant IPPSA permission to use the work for promotional purposes in any of its digital publications or on the website and other electronic media.

Entrants also understand the work may be published in 3rd-party publications including newspapers, magazines and periodicals, solely for the purpose of promoting the work, the photographer, and the IPPSA. Photographer’s name will be credited and listed with the photograph.


The images submitted as part of the IPPSA 2020 may not be regarded as obscene, offensive, defamatory, ethically offensive, violent, pornographic, harassing, inappropriate for minors, racist, racist, xenophobic, right-wing and/or otherwise objectionable. The upload of the corresponding pictures can lead to the exclusion from the photo competition according to the conditions of participation. The organizer reserves the right to delete uploaded pictures before or after publication, without giving reasons, no paid fees will be returned. 

The entrant will indemnify and keep indemnified the IPPSA against any claim by a third party in relation to the work.


The organizers of the IPPSA reserve the right to cancel or terminate the photo competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. The organizer shall make use of this possibility in particular if, for technical reasons (eg viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and / or software) or for legal reasons, proper performance of the photocopy can not be guaranteed. If such termination is caused by the conduct of a participant, the organizer may demand compensation for the loss incurred by the participant. 

                   FEES PAID

Entry fees and prizes are quoted in United States Dollars. The Organiser does not account or have any liability for any participant’s bank fees and charges that may be levied in currency conversion and currency transaction by the participating bank or institution. Prizes are paid in USD. Currency conversions to local currency are at winners’ discretion and expense at the time of conversion.You may enter your work in as many categories as you wish. However, once the submission fee is paid, you will not be able to edit, change, or add new categories.

In order to participate in the IPPSA it is essential to accept the current data protection. The participant is at any time free to revoke the consent to the storage by revocation at  and thus withdraw from the participation. The participant expressly agrees hereby. It is also a condition on entering the competition that the entrant agrees that visitors to the print competition are permitted to take photographs of their work for personal, non-commercial use during the run of the exhibition. The IPPSA will install notices indicating that photography is permitted provided it is for personal, non-commercial use but will not be responsible if any images of the work taken are exploited commercially.The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence can be entered into. Entrants should be aware that all works are judged on an equal and anonymous basis and that there is no segregated judging by region or country. Claimants and users must understand that we are not an intellectual property tribunal. While we and our Designated Copyright Agent may in our discretion use the information provided in order to decide how to respond to infringement claims, we are not responsible for determining the merits of such claims. If a user responds to a claim of infringement by providing assurances that its content is not infringing, the user agrees that if we thereafter restore or maintain the content, the user will defend and hold us harmless from any resulting claims of infringement brought against us and our Designated Copyright Agent. The IPPSA reserves the right to disqualify any piece of work if the entrant has not adhered to the rules, even if the work has been selected for exhibition.This website is operated by IPPSA .
